Marriage during the time of the Prophet (saw) was something easy. These days we've shrouded it in cultural practices, rituals, and made it a matter of difficulty, and unfortunately the haraam has become easier than the halal.

Let's go back to the sunnah at looking at what really matters, a persons piety and deen. And let's make marriage easy. Only with a practising spouse can you hope to achieve success in your marriage, bi'ithnillah
