Bandung is a fashion mekka for hijabers woman. Why? Because here, are the place where most muslim woman generally wears hijab, or wearing feils. The majority of woman who lived in this city are aware of their obligations as a muslim woman to cover their aurat/body, except hand, feet and their face.
Since there are more demand on hijab clothings, this city provides them by creating businesses in fashion's area specially for hijabers. For example, there are lots of different kinds of feils and clothes with many variety of colours, motives, and also new ideas of gamis and maxis that are very stylists.
For my experience, lots of good quality of gamis and feils were found in Pasar Baru, Bandung. This is my favorite place to hunt for cheap feils and cute clothes.
There is one other reason why Bandung become the fashion mekka for hijabers. Thanks for "Hijaber's" club who introduce stylist fashion for muslim woman who wears it. They are quiet successful to attract lots of their followers to be an inspirations for other muslimah to wear hijab because of their beautiful style.
Try to see how they look, you will find them very attractive and beautiful. They are also successfully changing woman's perspectives about wearing hijab, that covering our aurat doesn't necessarilly means losing our beauty any less. Woman with hijab can be appealling, nice, and beautiful too by wearing gamis or maxi's with many colours and pretty feils like them.
