If you are now experiencing a state of melancholy, and you're finding it hard to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, you need to FORCE yourself to smile. When your thoughts turn dark fill your life with light. Watch a comedy, take a walk in the sunshine, talk to a friend who's an eternal optimist, or just do something-anything- that will make you feel good. Once you do, you'll become like a joy magnet!
