In His infinite wisdom Allah subhanallah wa ta'ala created men and women with very different natures. For example, both have unique ways of handling stress.

'Generally speaking' - when a man is stressed he tends to ‘isolate’ himself to think about the problem, whilst a woman will want to ‘talk’ about it!

Communication in marriage is essential, so brothers please explain to your wife you will discuss the problem with her after you think things through, and sisters rest assured your ‘conversation’ will happen at a later time so you can share your thoughts and feelings Insha’Allah!

Sampan kecil kita telah berlubang-lubang sayang..kurasakan ini akan segera tenggelam. Biarkan ia karam, karena walau bagaimanapun aku sudah terlalu letih mendayung untuk sampai ketepian.

Aku tahu kamu tak peduli lagi pada sampan ini, dan aku tahu kau pasti akan melompat berenang meninggalkan aku tenggelam bersamanya. Di ujung sana kapal besarmu masih kokoh berlayar.

Mungkin bagimu perahu kecil ini tak ada artinya, tapi inilah yang menyelamatkanmu ketika kau terhempas jatuh ke samudera lepas dari kapal besarmu yang terombang-ambing badai dan gelombang besar.

Kau boleh kembali ke kapal besarmu sayang,  tapi kumohon..jangan pernah kau lupakan jasa perahu kecil tak berarti ini.

Success In Life Is Not In Who You Marry..

You might be married to the worst man ever, like Pharaoh, and be one of the best women.
You might be married to the best of men, like the wife of Lut 'alaihissalaam, and not enter Heaven.
You might not be married to any man, like Maryam 'alaihassalaam, and Allah can make your rank higher than any women.  Success in life is not in who you marry.

Be Patience..

At times looking for a pious spouse can be a long process. We pray, we search, we wait and nothing happens for what might seem like eternity. This can be a time when Shaitan will try to discourage us, or even entice us to look using haram means. Brothers and sisters - don’t give up!
 

Remember that “Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow - that is patience.”
 

{O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.} [Quran 2:153]

Ikhlas

► If your conscious tells you to seek ikhlaas, then turn to greed firstly, & slaughter it with the knife of despair [1], then turn to the love of being praised and abandon it like how those who adore the life of this world abandon the hereafter.

If you are successful in slaughtering greed and in abandoning the love of being praised, then ikhlaas will be easy for you. [Ibn Al Qayyim]

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,

When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,

When the funds are low and the debts are high

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit,

Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
